This
leadership team helps small and minority business interests
with government procurement, regulations and other public
policy issues affecting small businesses and serving
as a networking agent and resource center. This committee
also familiarizes itself with ballot initiatives and
candidates running for public office to help members
gain a better understanding of their intentions, benefits
and repercussions so they can cast an educated vote.
The Public
Policy Leadership Team (Formerly known as the Government
Affairs Committee) meets on the last Monday
of every month at the THCC offices at 823 E. Speedway
