Our Legislative Principles

The Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce exists to provide valuable tools, resources and services to its members as well as future member businesses located in the Tucson metropolitan area, eastern Pima County, southeastern Arizona, and Sonora, Mexico.

Supporting and retaining existing businesses and current jobs, growing those businesses, and attracting new business, commerce and additional primary jobs to the region are a priority. Locally-owned businesses, small businesses, minority-owned businesses and international business conducted with Mexico are a focus for THCC.

Promoting and developing an increasingly educated and skilled workforce in support of high-wage job creation and retention of local talent is a goal of THCC.

Regional governance and state, county and city local elected leaders that understand the needs of business and facilitate solutions in support of a robust local economy are a priority for THCC. Informing current and future THCC members of the impacts to their industry or business of proposed or adopted government regulations is an important task of THCC.
