What Makes SonoraFest So Unique 

• In its 4th year, SonoraFest is a Bi-National collaborative effort and special partnership between 
the State of Sonora’s Secretariat of Economy, Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and 
Affiliate, Southeast Arizona Hispanic Chamber, the City of Sierra Vista, and Mexican Consulate in Douglas 

• Community Partners are the Mall at Sierra Vista and Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce

• Brings Sonora to Arizona for all those military service members, DoD Contractors, their 
families, and anyone who is not allowed or doesn’t want to cross into Mexico by giving them a unique opportunity to experience the Sonoran/Mexican culture through their people, crafts, art, food, music, and folklore

• We are expecting some 55 to 60 Sonora and Sponsors to participate in 2022

• We are working with regional print/internet radio and national level TV media sponsors to promote this event at the Arizona-Sonora Mega Region level

• Presents a huge economic development opportunity for Sierra Vista and Cochise County with a projected attendance of 12,000 to 14,000 attendees over the two-day period

• Promotes cross-border trade and international relations between the States of Sonora and Arizona

• We are seeking sponsorship at the $10,000 (Presenting Sponsor), $5,000, $1,000 and $500 levels
